Halloween in Ottawa

If you are planning on spending your spooky Halloween in Ottawa this year then you certainly won't be disappointed with all of the festivities and events that are being planned in and around the city.

Are you looking for something for the young ones or are you looking for a party place at night? Whatever you are looking for, Ottawa is sure to have it.

Halloween for Young Kids in Ottawa

Trick or Treating - this is a favourite activity for a lot of young kids. You can go trick or treating in and around your neighbourhood or someone else's.

Parties - a lot of families are choosing to bring their kids to Halloween parties in Ottawa nowadays. They think it is safer and knowing the weather in Ottawa, some years, it is a really good idea. Make sure to check out your local papers and schools to find out about the parties that are being organized in your area. Or, alternatively, why not plan one at your house?

Halloween for Various Ages

The Haunted Walk Offering a variety of unique historical walking tours in Kingston and Ottawa. Best known are their tours of local ghost stories and darker history, presented in the evening when the lights are low and the atmosphere just right for a good ghost story. Assuming you want to dress up for Halloween, there are plenty of places to rent or buy Halloween costumes in Ottawa. Most big box department stores carry them for all ages. There are also quite a few costume stores here that have some excellent choices:

Make sure to go early as the best ones will probably be picked over first.
