Little Italy
on Preston Street

Ottawa has its very own Little Italy on Preston Street. It is located within walking distance of Dows Lake and the Canal. Preston Street is known for having excellent restaurants and cafes as well as a good selection of local businesses.

Even though there is an obvious Italian flare to Preston Street, we are noticing that it is becoming quite International as well. There are a few restaurants that don't just offer Italian cuisine, they also offer some other delicacies too.

Preston Street is also home to "Italian Week" in Ottawa. This week long festival is usually held in June. This fun celebration includes:

• a pageant
• music
• great food
• a bike race
• dancing
• partying in the streets
• and more

One of the newest additions to Preston Street is Ottawa's newest Comedy Club, Absolute Comedy which is located at 412 Preston. The prices are right and the entertainment is fantastic. If you don't feel like watching one of the acts then you can play pool with your friends on their pool table.
