Ottawa 67s
The Ottawa 67s are Ottawa's Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Team. They have been playing in Ottawa
since 1967 and over the years quite a few NHL players began their careers with the 67s. What a
great way to see some of the NHL's future stars!
The 2011-2012 season began on September 23, 2011 and ends March 18, 2012.
If you are looking for a fun night out with your family or friends and you don't want to pay a
fortune, then we definitely recommend going to see an Ottawa 67s game. They play at the J. Benson Centre (Ottawa Civic
Centre) at 1015 Bank Street.
Here is some useful information about transportation and directions to the J. Benson Centre for a 67s game:
- OC Transpo has routes that go down Bank Street to the Centre
- Driving from the west end of Ottawa – take the Queensway (417), take the Kent Street exit,
head north. Turn right onto any of the upcoming streets and then when you reach Bank Street,
turn right. Head south until you see the Centre.
- Driving from the east end of Ottawa – take the Queensway (417), take the Metcalfe/Catherine
Steet exit, follow Catherine until you reach Bank Street, turn left on Bank Street and head south.
The ticket prices for the Ottawa 67s games can't be beat when it comes to sports in Ottawa. They vary depending on age, location in the arena, which game (pre-season or regular season). Contact either Capital Tickets or the 67s box office (613-232-6767) for exact prices.
You can purchase tickets at the 67s Box Office or through Capital Tickets.
Are you planning a birthday party for someone? The 67s have great birthday packages that include tickets to the game, food & an announcement on the PA for the birthday boy/girl. Who wouldn't love that?
Hope you find some time to come to a game (if not a few games). The entertainment value is
excellent.
See you there. Go 67s go!
