Ottawa Bluesfest
Cisco Systems Ottawa Bluesfest is one of the best festivals in all of Canada. It is also the largest
blues festival as well. We love going downtown Ottawa each year to enjoy some of the bands
that they have lined up.
Bluesfest 2010 will be held from July 7 - 18, 2010.
This amazing event has been running since 1994 and has offered some amazing entertainment
over the years. We have seen bands and musicians such as the Tragically Hip, Melissa Ethridge,
George Thorogood, Blue Rodeo, Sting and many more. As you can see the music isn't always
"blues" but it does bring in some of the greatest entertainers in the music industry.
The event this year will be held at LeBreton Flats (across from the new Canadian War Museum) and will take place on a few different stages:
- Bank of America Stage
- Roots Stage
- Rogers Stage
- River Stage
- Black Sheep Stage
You can purchase different ticket packages:
- Single Day Tickets
- Full Festival Passports
- Youth Passports
- Weekend Passports
- Gold Circle Pass
To make it easy for you, you can purchase your tickets at a few locations around the city or online:
