Ottawa New Year's Eve

What do you picture yourself doing in Ottawa on New Year's Eve this year? Ottawa really does offer a wide variety of events to help you ring in the New Year. It just all depends on what you are up to doing!

Each year we do something different (sometimes it depends on weather, sometimes it depends on whether or not we planned ahead and actually bought tickets for an event). We have gone to numerous parties and we have also had some nice, quiet evenings in with just a few friends. Each New Year's celebration was always fun no matter what we did and no matter who we were with.

Here are some ideas for your Ottawa New Year's Celebration:

• Ottawa Bars & Nightclubs - there will be parties at almost every bar or nightclub in the Ottawa area. We just can't list them all. If you have a favourite, you may want to call them in advance to see what they have planned

• host a Murder Mystery party/dinner
