Ottawa offers a huge mix of nightlife. There are lots of places to go dance and party if that is your thing or you can sit and relax in a quiet pub.

For those of you who don't live in Ottawa and are here visiting you need to make sure to go to the right areas of town if you want to enjoy the nightlife. We don't want you to be disappointed. Two areas that offer lots of choices are the Byward Market and Elgin Street. Although there are hundreds of other bars to choose from throughout the city, these are the two places that offer a good variety within walking distance.
