Ottawa Real EstateThe Ottawa real estate market is growing constantly. There are new condos and homes popping up all over the place. There are even new subdivisions being created. Due to the new growth, the market here is pretty hot! If you are planning on buying or selling your condo or home, you are going to want help. You can either attempt the entire process on your own through various companies who assist you to sell and buy on your own. Or, you can find a real estate agent in Ottawa to help. The first time we sold our home we did a bit of both. We tried to sell on our own with a bit of success. We did get an offer very early on. However, when that deal fell through, we enlisted the services of a real estate agent. We can't say that we prefer one way or the other. They both have their pros and cons. At the end of the day, the decision of whether to try it on your own or to hire a real estate agent is up to you. There are hundreds of Real Estate Agents in Ottawa to help you. They have the knowledge and experience to help you sell and/or buy a home. If you are selling, your home may end up getting listed on the MLS (online). Some houses sell so quick though that they don't even get a chance to be listed. There are also some online companies who can assist you in selling your own home (i.e. Grapevine, For Sale By Owner). For those that live here, you more than likely know about most of the Ottawa neighbourhoods. You probably know what area you want to move to as well.
