RCMP Musical Ride
The RCMP Musical Ride is a Canadian tradition choreographed to music in which the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) publicly display their riding ability and perform numerous intricate cavalry drills.
The Ride is made up of actual police officers who volunteer for this duty, and although most members have no riding experience prior to joining, they become expert horsemen thru rigorous training. The most anticipated highlight of the Musical Ride is when all 32 riders and horses perform the CHARGE, with lances poised and steeds a galloping!
