We have a pretty good selection of toy stores in Ottawa. You can choose from a big box store with all the name brand toys or you can choose from a smaller, independently owned store. Whatever you are looking for, Ottawa has it all.
Before having kids, we only made trips to a toy store when someone we knew was either having a baby or if a good friends’ child was having a birthday. We didn’t go often so, until becoming parents, we didn’t really know a lot about toy stores.
Now, it is a different story. We actually enjoy going into toy stores to check out the latest products. We don’t always bring the kids with us but when we do, there are plenty of stores that have play areas for the kids to keep them distracted while you do your shopping.
