There are plenty of places where you can get pumpkins in Ottawa so no matter what part of the city you live in, you will be able to find some pumpkins near you!
Some farms allow you to pick your own but most places have them in an area for you to choose from. Some have all sizes of pumpkins and other great fall decorations too including hay and various gourds. There are also places where you can take the family on a tractor ride!
You can bring the whole family out to find some pumpkins for Halloween. What a wonderful way to spend a cool, autumn afternoon and a great photo opportunity too! We always bring our kids out to help us choose the pumpkins and also so we can get some great fall photos with them by the pumpkins.

You can also find pumpkins at your local grocery store, Farm Boy, various farmer’s markets, Produce Depot and sometimes just stalls along side the road.
Apart from local places, if you really want a special experience, check out Pumpkinferno at Upper Canada Village. It is a special event that they hold at Halloween time. Hundreds of pumpkins are on display and it is quite the sight to see at night time when they are all lit.
