As pet owners and dog lovers, we are excited to offer our new Ottawa Pets Guide.
If you are anything like us, your pet is an integral part of your family and everyday life. As responsible pet owners (3 dogs, some fish and a rat) we pride ourselves on providing our pets with quality products and tending to their different needs.
When I got my first dog, I had so many questions about house and crate training, should I get a puppy or an older dog, a rescue dog perhaps? What should I look for in a breed? I needed to sign up for obedience classes, and get all the necessary shots for her. From time to time, a groomer is needed. Now, I love to spoil them with cute accessories – some which are necessary like warm coats for the winter, and others not so much, like a rhinestone studded collar and dog tag. I also try to feed them the best and most natural products possible without breaking the bank.
There are so many benefits to owning a pet. They can help improve both our physical health and emotional state of mind. They have been proven to help lower blood pressure, and encourage us to exercise. At this point, with my family, they are instilling in my children a sense of responsibility and respect for other living beings.
There is so much information out there, and we hope that by gathering the Ottawa-based resources in one section, we can save you time and money. We realize that the Ottawa pet Guide section will take time to complete and will likely be a work in progress for a while, but we will strive to include the following information for our readers as we come by it.
