- Half Marathon
The full marathon is Canada’s largest marathon.
Are you interested in participating in one of the races? If so, you need to sign up really early to avoid disappointment. Some races book up months in advance.
If you are planning on coming down to watch, there are many places along each routes that you can get a great view. Our favourite place is along the Canal. If you are hoping to catch a loved one at the finish line, they have bleachers to accommodate you as well.
We know a lot of people who participate in the various races and it is always fun to go downtown to watch them and cheer on all the runners. The runners probably appreciate it too. If you aren’t a runner yet, this is a great way to motivate you to get out and run. This is what got us into running.
There is so much information and last minute updates so we wouldn’t want you to miss anything. If you are looking for more info on the events taking place, please refer to the official Ottawa Race Weekend website.
Enjoy your run and/or cheering on your loved ones!
