We have noticed in recent years that there are more and more people running in Ottawa. There are events being planned almost every weekend and everywhere you go, you see groups of people out running in various running clinics.
We have made it out to many running events either as participants or spectators. The rush being in the race and the adrenaline being felt in the crowds is amazing. Have you been out to watch one of the races? If not, you really should get out to watch one of them. It is a lot of fun and there is so much energy.
Are you new to running in Ottawa? If so, this is the perfect city to start your new routine. There are many scenic areas to run like the Ottawa River Parkway, the Aviation Parkway, along the Rideau Canal, or up in Gatineau Park or you can just run closer to home in your own neighbourhood.
