Are you planning a visit to one of the many Ottawa Museums? Are you going with the family or on your own? We are pleased to tell you that there is an excellent selection to choose from and there is something for all age groups.
If you want to learn about Canada’s history or our currency you can learn about it here. Or if you want to learn about Canada’s role in past wars or test your knowledge in science and technology then you can learn about that too.
We are very fortunate to have so many amazing museums to choose from in Ottawa. Besides being informative, some of them also offer great March Break camps, summer camps, PD day activities and other special events throughout the year.
Here are some of the Ottawa Museums that we recommend. My personal favorites are the War and the Civilization museums. The civilization museum (now called the Canadian Museum of History) is not technically in Ottawa, but just a short jaunt across the bridge from the National Art Museum behind Parliament.
