Upper Canada Village is an 1860s heritage park outside of Ottawa near Morrisburg. There are historical buildings such as a bakery, a sawmill, a flour mill, an old school and more.
The staff are all dressed up in costume from the 1860s and they are located around the park and in the various buildings to answer your questions. It is one of the most interesting and historical of all the Ottawa attractions.
For those of you who have lived in Ottawa through your school years you have probably already visited the Village for a school trip. Most people we know that have been back as an adult have been just as impressed (if not more) than they were the first time they went as a child. It really is a great place for all ages and a great trip for the entire family.
